    This Force Lower Unit will fit a 1976-1989 Chrysler
    (Force outboard models too)
    9.9 HP, 10 HP, 12.9 HP, and 15 HP outboard,
    it may fit other models as well
    . THIS IS A SHORT SHAFT unit. This lower unit is in good working condition. It shifts correctly, the drive shaft spins smoothly and appropriately. The gear lube was clean when I checked it before removing for shipping, that said I do not know when the seals were last done on this gear box so use your discretion. The water pump was working but I do not know when it was installed, so again use your discretion. This is a good gear box that is becoming harder to find. This lower unit was removed from a motor that was used only in
    freshwater
    . It is in clean condition(see pics), there are no cracks, breaks, or welds.
